Has anyone here bought a large amount of helmets for their team? If so did you get a discount for the large order? How would be the best way to go about this.

We bought 35 helmets last year and we plan on ordering another 20 this year. Any lax store will help you out. We got it from lax unlimited. The guy was real cool we got our helmets in like 2-3 weeks. We also got a great deal on them we got cascade cpx's for $105.

I ordered 20 CPX helmets on 13 September from Lax World. They arrived on 9 October, even though I was promised 2-3 day delivery. Seems Cascade was out of a particular part for the helmet and all incomplete orders were then placed on back order. I imagine that the part is in now, thus the delivery of the complete order a month later.

The thing is that I had to find out about the lack of part(s) on my own. Lax World never once contacted me to tell me about he back order. I call Cascade regarding my order and they told me. At least 5 emails and 3 phone call went unreturned from my contact at Lax World. i know that this is a busy time, but it does not take long to return a phone call. Just a world to the wise.

we ordered 33 Custom Chromium CPX's from Lax.com. Talk to Mike Chepucavage, he really helped us out and got us what we wanted. They were a week late on delivering the order, but we were able to get them for around $110-115 a helmet

I encountered the same type of service from Lax World on some backordered underarmour jackets. When I finally called to enquire, the sales rep at Lax World was full of attitude

I have personally never found Lax World to be my first choice for equipment buying for the same reason that jeff stated; too much attitude. I think I would enquire when placing an order if ALL items were available for immediate shipping. I would ask when the order was expected to ship and then call back a couple of days after that date to confirm actual shipment and get a tracking number!!! If you cant get a tracking number, it is a clear sign your order has not shipped. Maybe give them a couple more days and then try again. If you still cant get a tracking number, cancel the order and go with a different manufacturer.

I know this is a dug up post... but many helmet issues were caused by the drama occuring at Brine. With Brine in the midst of a possible buyout, no helmets were being produced (dealers had no warning), and Cascade was not ready for the influx of orders, resulting in backordered parts and delayed orders. We had to deal with this on both ends being a dealer & waiting for team orders we sold.
