Getting hit in the shins hurts

coming from a goalie of 6 years, hey mines goalie, did they steal your shin pads too? just kidding.
my first year i would wear shin pads but then i shedded them for the next season. ive taken enough hits to the legs and arms that it barely phases me now. the only ones that really mess me up are the ones on the front of the ankle where there is no bone between the ball and a ton of nerves. i almost collapse when i take one of those just cause my leg pretty much goes limp.

I have been doing it for 4 years now....I just have a wierd goalie style...I slide around alot...play it alot more like a box goalie, so the shin guards come in handy alot.

Thank god some other people are mocking this guy for wearing shin pads. I have been doing it for a couple of years and for some reason it hasn't caught on.

Not true, like I said in this whole thread about it, http://forums.uslia.com/viewtopic.php?t=287, I laugh at goalies who wear them. I have played goalie off and on the last 5 years when we didn't have a back up and I never wore them nor would I wear them.

Suck it up and play some lacrosse. :wink:
