And you can probably tell the refs they're your shoulder pads too! :)

It says on the website that they are not a subsitute for shoulder pads. I wish they were though.

No, I didn't really think so - but based on some of the stuff I've seen claimed as shoulder pads, it wouldn't surprise me!
