Rebel or Lacrosswear

Postby East-West Lax on Tue Aug 02, 2005 11:39 am

I've ordered uniforms for the last 7 or 8 years running and here are my thoughts. First, forget the big companies (LaxWorld, etc.) they will put a club team's order that was put in 6 months ago on hold to finish some big time Maryland high school team who ordered late. Beyond that, my two recommendations are:

Rebel - really high quality, durable uniforms. Used by many DI and DIII teams. They make all of STX's uniforms I think. They are a little pricey however, but if that isn't too big a deal, they are well worth it.

Lacrossewear - this company makes some of the coolest gear out there. (if you have been at a tourney and seen shorts or jerseys with a little pair of sunglasses on them, that is lacrossewear) Their shorts are the best fit, best cut shorts I have ever had. Their prices are all a dollar or two below everyone elses as well. A good company to do business with.

so the hassle of uniforms is when one gets lost, u have to buy in a package of twelve or some other ungodly amount that u just dont need... one company that we are getting our jerseys from has told us that after our original order we can get single jerseys made... one at a time and in less than 2 weeks... they are supposed to be lighter than most other jerseys like a soccer jersey and fully customizable. we are getting our through stickhead in memphis but check out the website

you can create your own designs and i hear that they are fully customizable... our new jerseys are gonna look pretty sick this year down at harding thanks to these guys...

We've had great success with Detroit Lax who allows us to "piece meal" our jerseys.

Our biggest problem is seniors snatching their jerseys at the end of a season when we are planning on using them the next year.
