No it did not happen...wonder why? $$$??? or timing?

From Marquette's standpoint, I think we would have been more likely to come if this had been in the early spring, like Jan. or Feb. This way it is after finals, and can count towards the spring season. It would be especially helpful if you had something like this with a mix of conferences so teams could get some out of conference games.

I know for MU the expense to travel to St. Cloud requires justification, and with us already playing three tourney's in the fall and a couple of other games, the cost was too much for the players which is understandable.

I think if you try to have a couple of UMLL, CCLA, GRLC, etc. teams next year in Jan/Feb you might perk more interest. Just food for thought.
