University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is looking for 2-3 games this spring vs USLIA competition. UWM is looking to enter the USLIA in the next couple of years and wants to test the waters this spring. UWM plays in the Great Lakes Lacrosse Conference with other such teams as Wisconsin, Northwestern, Northern Michigan, and teams from around the state fo Wisconsin. We start our conference games at the end of March early April. So any weekends before that would work great. We could travel, but due to our low budget as of now it would be easier to play here in Milwaukee. Any teams interest pm me or email

Play in some of the preseason tournaments in Minnesota. St. Cloud should have a good one. I know there a bunch in the fall. That would be a great place to test the waters. Since those times are more relaxed you could probably meet some of the teams and leadership. I will tell you that I have seen the GLLC and the UMLL and there is a big difference in the level of play. I do think if you guys are dedicated then you will do great in the UMLL. I think the biggest divider between the UMLL and GLLC is not the experience of the players, but the desire in the players. St. Olaf started out with a few guys that played before college, and then they taught new guys to play. Now the team is a good one. You guys could be right there. Also talk with Marquette, EauClaire, and St. Mary's.

Hot-Dish Classic would be a good option. I know that non-uslia UW- Stout will be playing in it. the contact for that is
mhellenack@earthlink.net. I know most UMLL teams will be playing in it so it would be a great oppritunuty to meet the UMLL people like Rob Graff and Chris Larson.
