Northern Michigan University is looking to host their first ever “Lake Superior Fall Ball Shootout” next September or October. NMU is looking to see what teams may be interested in coming up to Marquette, Michigan for a competitive weekend of lacrosse. We would like to get enough teams to guarantee everyone at least 3 games over the period of the weekend. The cost has yet to be determined. But it would be a nice weekend for all teams to come out play some good lacrosse, as well as welcome in all the new players on each team to their respective teams.
There are plenty of hotels in the area and they always have given teams that come up very good rates on hotels. More details to come once we know how many teams may want to come up

If anyone is interested please contact me at nglazier@nmu.edu or send a PM

I lived in Marquette as a child. My dad is an NMU alum and my great-uncle, R. Thomas Peters, was behind the development and construction of the Superior Dome.

I was in Marquette last summer for my great-aunt and great-uncle's 50th anniversary. I enjoyed being there for the summer weather.

Again, best of luck putting this together.
