Nash Named NLL's Top Player For Week Two

DENVER – For the second straight week to open the 2007 National Lacrosse League season, a member of the Colorado Mammoth has been named the league's top player.
Goaltender Gee Nash was named the NLL's player of the week after making 42 saves and allowing just six goals in the Mammoth's 10-6 win over the Arizona Sting on Friday. Nash also picked up six loose balls as he helped the Mammoth improve to 2-0. Mammoth forward Brian Langtry was named the league's top player for Week 1.
Also for the second consecutive week, Mammoth transition man Josh Sims was named the NLL's transition player of the week. Sims scored three goals – including a shorthanded goal – and collected 11 loose balls in the Mammoth victory.
Edmonton Rush forward Chris Gill was named the offensive player of the week, Chicago Shamrox goaltender Brandon Miller was named the defensive player of the week and teammate Bill McGlone won rookie of the week honors.
