Surf's up: Lacrosse-over may fill void left by hockey

Have we mentioned lately how badly we miss hockey?
One of our "favourite" foreign papers, the Globe and Mail of Toronto, last week reported a possible fast fix for he-shoots-he-scores junkies.
The National Lacrosse League has reached a deal with NBC to broadcast its Feb. 26 all-star game, and its May championship game, here in the States. This will be the first live professional lacrosse ever aired on a major U.S. network, according to the Globe and Mail.
