Just curious if anyone from USF or UCF has heard anything about an NLL expansion team coming to either Tampa or Orlando.

It appears Ft. Lauderdale will be getting a franchise most likely in the next year and will be playing at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise.

I think I heard they were looking for another Florida city but I forget which one was mentiond.

I still haven't heard anything, but I'm a little out of the Florida loop since I came out to CO. I'll keep my eyes peeled for anything. Thanks for the heads up.

I'd be psyched to see Ft Lauderdale get an NLL team...I haven't been to a pro box game since the old Boston Blazers left the Garden.

It would be interesting to see how it does down here. Not the best crowds for hockey here or the new ABA team the Pit Bulls who look like they are on their way out of the arena.

Looks like the COO and one of the VP's of the Panthers are going to Philly this month to check out a game. NLL commish Jim Jennings came down to the arena back in December.
