VANCOUVER -- There needs to be "traction" on an arena deal, likely with GM Place, in the next couple of days if the Vancouver Ravens are to fly in the National Lacrosse League in 2008, Ravens founder Tom Mayenknecht said yesterday.
In granting conditional approval for the franchise's rebirth, the NLL set July 19 as a deadline for an arena deal and 2,500 in season-ticket commitments.
