Streaking Mammoth wary of Anaheim

This is what commonly is referred to as a "trap game."

A team is playing well and coming off a series of important wins. Next on the ledger is the league bottom- feeder and, after that, the league front-runner.

It can be easy to overlook that last-place team.

The Colorado Mammoth, coming off three consecutive impressive wins, insists this will not be the case tonight when it travels to Anaheim to take on the cellar-dwelling Storm (8:30 MST, KCKK-AM 1600).

"You've seen that they have won some games this year," Mammoth defenseman Jay Jalbert said of the Storm (2-5). "They're definitely dangerous and we're definitely not looking past them. They've got some unbelievable athletes on their team and to be honest with you, they are very scary for a team like us."
