Buffalo, NY - Buffalo Bandits Director of Lacrosse Operations Dave Zygaj announced today the team has re-signed midfielders Mark Steenhuis and Rich Kilgour.

Steenhuis, a three-time NLL All-Star, finished the 2006 season as Buffalo’s second-leading scorer with 57 points (34+23). He also ranked second on the team in loose balls with 144 on the year. A native of St. Catharines, ON., Steenhuis has spent the last four seasons in Buffalo, compiling 111 goals and 85 assists. After scoring 30 points (11+19) in his rookie season as a member of the Columbus Land Sharks, Steenhuis was traded to Buffalo following the 2002 season in exchange for goaltender Ken Montour.

Kilgour will return for his 15th season in a Bandits uniform. The Niagara Falls, NY native and team captain is Buffalo’s all-time leader in faceoffs won with 352, and is also among the franchise’s all-time leaders in games played (166), goals (89), assists (209), points (298), penalty minutes (230), and loose balls (742). Kilgour was a key member of all three championship-winning teams in Buffalo, including the inaugural 1992 Bandits squad.
