The National Lacrosse League and OLN have announced a partnership that will bring the NLL to live national television every week throughout the 2007 season. The telecasts will air primarily in primetime on Saturday nights, starting in January and running through mid-April on OLN, which, as of September of 2006 will be known as Versus, a network dedicated to the heart and soul of sports. OLN is the US television home to the National Hockey League, the Tour de France and the Professional Bull Riders, and now the NLL.

"Our new partnership with OLN brings the National Lacrosse League to primetime national television on a weekly basis throughout our entire regular season," said NLL Commissioner Jim Jennings. "It's a historic announcement for not only our league, but the sport of lacrosse as a whole. The game has made such great strides in recent years, and the NLL is proud to partner with OLN in bringing lacrosse to a national audience every Saturday night throughout our season."

The network will be known as Versus by the time NLL makes its debut on the network in January 2007.

"Focusing on exclusive events like the NLL, Versus will continue to present fans with the total fan experience for which the network is known," said Marc Fein, Senior Vice President of Programming and Production for OLN. "NLL games are a terrific addition to the network's expanding roster of sports content and will help us continue to broaden our reach and appeal to new viewers."

Highlights of the games will be available on the network's website at OLNTV.com. The schedule of NLL games to air on Versus will be determined following completion of the league's 2007 regular season schedule.

OLN is the national cable home of the National Hockey League (NHL) and the Stanley Cup Playoffs as well as best-in-class events like The Tour de France, the America's Cup, the Dakar Rally, the Professional Bull Riders (PBR), the Arena Football League (AFL), the Boston Marathon, AMA Motocross, Davis Cup and USSA Skiing. Now in more than 69 million homes, the network features the best field sports programming on television and is a destination for sports fans, athletes and sportsmen to find exclusive, competitive events that audiences can't find elsewhere. The network offers unique, competition-themed original programming and is the exclusive home of Survivor in syndication. OLN is distributed via cable systems and satellite operators throughout the United States. The network will be changing its name to Versus as of September 2006.
