The Baggataway Tavern is up and running and is already a hit. Former Philadelphia Wings players Scott Gabrielsen, Paul French and Mike French, recently acquired Billy Cunningham’s Court, a popular pub style restaurant in West Conshohocken, Pennsylvania and re-opened it under the new name the Baggataway Tavern. The term “Baggataway” is derived from the native Indian word for lacrosse, “baggataway”. Recently, Carl Rotenberg of the Norristown (PA) Times Herald caught up with the new ownership team and commented on the pub’s new identity in a story titled “Laxaholics: Borough tavern gets an athletic new look."
