My buddy and I were discussing the other day how much we thought the pro lacrosse leagues paid for a season. I'm wondering if anyone out there could give us the info. I'm guessing that the salaries aren't high enough for the owners to lock out the players yet. But please give some insite if you could. Thanks.

I want to say the average or low figure is 15-16K while the Gaits and Powells make 30K. I could be TOTALLY wrong here but this is off the top of my head.

I heard at the draft that most players make about 20k but the biggest names make more. I heard about 80 for some of them as they get all have individual contracts. Also, did i miss something? why would they lock players out?

Ok thanks guys. No Mike you didn't miss anything. I was just getting a little sarcastic venting off since the Wings (or any other NHL hockey) won't be playing this season.

I actually looked this up at one point in time. It was a year or two ago, so this may be out of date, but I read that low level players make around $8,000, the decent but not star players make around $15-18,000 and players like the Powells and Gary Gait make $30,000 or more.

my roommate worked for MLL headquaters in Boston last summer. Im pretty sure I remember him saying that the league minimum is $1,000 per game played.
