Sources are telling Inside Lacrosse that Major League Lacrosse will host a regular-season game at Kennesaw State near Atlanta in 2013, a move that history has shown could lead to a future team in the region.
The university issued an advisory that a news conference will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, at which the game will be announced officially. Among the parties listed as attending the press conference: Dan Corso from Atlanta Sports Council, Dave Gross of Major League Lacrosse and Liam Banks of LB3 Lacrosse, the Georgia-based lacrosse camp, clinic, team and instruction company.
