Undefeated Denver sure looks tough..... Beat Baltimore by 10 points last weekend. it's early though.

i think you would be hard pressed to make a decent argument against denver at this point. but i do like what i saw from the riptide who knows what could happen if their defense steps up and they get hot they made a vast improvment between their first and second weeks. and lets hope they keep moving in that direction so we can see an even more competitive western division. and lets not forget the dragons, they have been the only team to play denver within five (i do realize it is really really early for that stat to matter much), or ten for that matter.

I agree Denver is going to be a great competitor. My hope is the Riptide continue to improve. Denver really hasn't been tested yet. The Dagon's faced them without Powell and the Bayhawks are decimated this year. Chicago is just getting started. So far, the Riptide have been operating in a bubble playing non-expansion teams. Hopefully these games will be a good warm-up for the ones that count, western division games later in the year. I think the difference will be the coaches and new players that can adjust to the differences in the game and mesh together the quickest.

Good Game for the Dragons

I guess Ryan Powell was the difference maker.

My vote is for the Outlaws, but it would be hard to vote against LA when they have Tillman Johnson.

LA handed it to Chicago Saturday, and I believe I heard the commentators today say that they only face Western Conference teams here on out. It'll be close in the West, but my vote is still with Denver.

Thats right, the Riptide face the west from here on out. The structure of the playoffs makes it crucial to win the west for the Riptide. With three losses out of conference, it may be tough to get in otherwise.

Denver for sure. I feel bad for Chicago... their roster can't compete with the rest of the west.

Denver has started out great, but I wouldn't be surprised for the Riptide to get on a run and finish the season strong. Tillman Johnson finally looked like Tillman Johnson and their offense looked good.

After watching Denver annialate LA the other day I am going to go ahead and cast my vote for Denver winning the west and giving the east a game. I very much enjoyed the aggressive performance of Trevor Tierney. That game was not even as close as the score indicated. Awesome to see the crowd also.
