Expansion Draft
Why wasn't Mark Millon Taken in the First Round? Heck he went undrafted untill the seventh pick. Denver took John Grant Jr. In the first, why go after someone so old, and not great at the field game.

u must not have seen him play
in addition, with the puny salaries those guys get, a lot of times other factors (not relocating to a certain area) are taken into effect.

I noticed that nine of LA's picks were from the MLL Player Pool. They also traded two of their picks for Tillman Johnson. Thought that was interesting.

As a big fan of Tillman Johnson, I am glad LA got him since I guess LA is my new favorite team since I live here.
Also a big fan of Chicago's picks of Doug Shanahan and Steve Dusseau as you need good 2-way middies in the MLL.
lil lady, did you see season ticket prices for LA? They are like 150-180 which isn't too bad but still more expensive then I found for Boston and others by like 60-80 bucks.

Yeah, LA's tickets are more expensive, but that doesn't surprise me. Look at the prices for the other venues owned by these folks. The Center season tix look to be the best deal--both price-wise and seating-wise. VIP Center is way out of wack IMO. I don't usually buy season tickets, but that seems a little rich for a start up team in a "relatively obscure" professional sport (at least by LA standards--they still haven't discovered it in the San Gabriel Valley ). Depending on how the initial sales go, maybe they'll come down in price to something comparable to the other team's prices.
Would STILL like to know what they're calling the team...

LA will do good with Tillman now on there team, a good thing in the MLL is having a good Goalie.

I believe all of the expansion teams will have the same season ticket prices per seat. Not too bad... being a season ticket holder from day 1 can't suck either. I'm already on the list for Denver.

The cost isn't too bad, especially when compared to the season tickets for other sports, though they are higher than the established teams. I wonder if this is to cover start-up costs.
I'm asking for mine for christmas this year. Thanks Santa!!

Look on the MLL website under Expansion teams. Some of the teams have links set up for season tickets. Last time I checked only LA and Denver were selling season tickets. That may have changed, though.

...one reason why I think Michael Watson was taken first by LA... he lives there. Same with Christian Cook and Baltimore. He can't play anywhere else either... not when you're in the Secret Service.
I was just a little confused with the trade for Howley and a 2nd rounder next year, but perhaps that's why I'm not the GM for the Outlaws.
PS - Grant is younger than Millon
