DISCLAIMER:
- Information reguarding eligibility and points was taken from the www.mcla.us website, the MCLA All-American Awards, and individual conference awards (excluding honorable mention).
- Without question there will be mistakes in this document. I encourage people to post corrections, or PM them to me.
- Grouping were based on the final 2007 MCLA poll, purely for organizational purposes only
- As new information becomes available or is posted, I will update the original post. I intend for this to be a working document.

NOTES:
- Format = Team Name (Overall Record, Conference Record)
- Format = Name[Points]<MCLA AA Award>. So “Smith[50] <3rd>” meant Smith marked 50 pts and was named to the MCLA All-American third team.
- Defensemen and FOS are indicated only if they were provided MCLA or individual conference awards
- “?” next to a players name indicates they have remaining eligibility, but their return to the program in 2008 is under question (i.e. graduated).
- Coaches are encouraged to post an 8-10 sentence 2008 outlook summary, that highlights their expectations for returning players and rookies.

I played on the same summer league team as the FOS/D middie for Illinois this year. He was great. He would frequently will the ball where he wanted on faceoffs and was very comforting to see on defense. He had a great head on him and was always where he needed to be. Look for him to help out their team this season.

Now that many teams are in full fall ball swing, I was wondering if any coaches would provide a "Coach's Outlook".

Simply a look at returning players, expectations from rookies, key improvements, schedule and key games, etc.

You can either post it, or PM me and I'll add it to each team's section above.

Any takers?

I hear that the Clan has an exceptional young talent from Duncan, BC in goal this year. Has anyone seen him this fall?

SFU

I saw him last year (if it's the same Goalie), and UW Head Coach Wilmot saw him more recently. The kid is flat-out phenomenal. Clansmen re-loading with more Frosh stars off the provincial and select U-19 teams. SFU could be vastly improved in '08.

I saw him play up in victoria in August. He should find himself on the all-pncll list somewhere this spring.

Dean Stewart

A few of my guys played with Dean Stewart on the Jr. A Timbermen. I understand he's quite the forward in box.

I'm well aware of what he can do and am anxious to see the Clan down in St. Charles this March!

Coach Cathrea and Coach Hoskins should have an excellent team this spring! Best of luck, gentlemen. See you in March!
