Questions about the Poll:

#4 Michigan, a little two high I think, what you have done for me lately, what have you done for me at all?
Aparently a win over #13 and #14 in the nation gives you a top 5 ranking?

Congrats to Georgia, moving up 5 spots. 5 may have been a little too much, but congrats none the less good luck in Dallas, i suggest eating at Bone Daddy's.

This polls MO is, I didn't do anything to move up, but the people in front of me sure did a good job of needing to move down.

Colorado, Lindenwood, and Michigan all moved up in the polls after losing big games. I have to say however that both Lindenwood and Michigan moving up is less derserving, because unlike Colorado neither of them have any "big" wins to rely on for cred.

I guess comments about the poll. More like "questions" as in problems that I believe to be involved. Other than those above, I think the poll is accuracte to what the season has been, crazy.

I'm still trying to figure out why Lindenwood is ranked as high as they are. They are 1-5 against ranked opponents, and their 1 win is over #24 Illinois. They played CSU tight, but their losses to Michigan, Arizona, and UMD were not close. Then they also lost to #20 Cal Poly. I think they deserve to be in the 15-18 range rather than at 13.

That has been the trend all year. The teams with the solid wins stay at the top. The teams that win and lose the big ones are making big jumps and big drops (i.e. ASU).
My thoughts about Georgia are that they are done until nationals, and that they still have two and a half weeks to drop in the polls with two polls still to come.
I am always satisfied with the poll until the very last one. So great job.

Can someone explain to me what Colorado did to move up in the poll? Didn't they just get shellacked (i don't even know if that is a real word but it sounds good) by CSU on a neutral field?

I think pollsters took that game as a reflection more of how good CSU is now.. in late season form... rather than an indicator that CU was poor.

The rest of CU's resume is quite strong. I think they should even be ahead of Michigan personally...

Here is my problem with the polls. I understand you have to leave recognized teams at the top i.e.(CSU, BYU,Oregon), but here is what I cannot fathom. If you look at d1 polls you see that they take into account quality wins, strength of schedule, etc. For example Albany's success this year. Here is my problem:
1. Duluth- Great Strength of schedule and I respect the fact you play BYU and CSU to a goal (I don't count Utah cause they aren't a top 15 team in my mind), but you have to beat someone to be considered a top 8 team, and they haven't.
2.Michigan- You Must Beat Someone to get praise.....and you can't do that, oh wait Florida and Michigan State are big wins my bad....
-With that being said I believe Arizona and Sonoma should be ranked higher

why should Sonoma be higher? the highest ranked team that they have beaten is #19 Virginia Tech. Personally, I think they're already too high.

Playing BYU and CSU to a goal is pretty impressive. Not many teams have had that kind of success against them this year. Just b/c they lost, why can't their performance be an indicator of how good of a team they are? Neither Michigan or Colorado (who are ranked above UMD) were able to play BYU and CSU as tough as UMD did. Seems pretty clear cut to me.

Looks like FSU, Florida, Va. Tech, and Utah will need some help. Utah is the only one of those 3 that can help themselves with a win over #1 BYU but, as history has shown in that series, that is VERY unlikely to happen.
If you ever fall off the Sears Tower, just go real limp, because maybe you'll look like a dummy and people will try to catch you because, hey, free dummy.

I just checked and Hell has not frozen over so I'm going to have to agree with TrainerDan.

Very True...I won't argue that but I'll still put my faith in BYU.
