Not particularly pleased with the results of this poll . . .
hopefully the rest of the season will sort this stuff out.

What about it? There were a few teams higher or lower than I had them, but nothing wildly off the mark.
And as for NE being voted #1, I am guessing it happened because they are still undefeated, and maybe that vote came from BYU, since it is rumored they never vote for themselves? Either way, I had them at seven, so don't blame me!

What's the word on Northeastern? I mean other than their schedule/results. We don't hear enough about them on the boards. Are they legit?

Arizona State, Michigan, Colorado only 13 points apart at Slots 4 - 6.
Sonoma and UMD only 5 points apart at Slots 7 - 8.
Northeastern and UCSB only 4 points apart at Slots 9 - 10.
Fla State and Arizona only 6 points apart at Slots 11 - 12.
Cal Poly and Texas A&M only 11 points apart at Slots 15 - 16.
Georgia and Florida only 3 points apart at Slots 17 - 18.

I really don't see the problem with Northeastern getting a first place vote. They are the only undefeated team left if I'm not mistaken. I know Coach Lamb has a vote and I can't imagine him picking CSU since they beat them or Oregon since they've dropped 2 games since the two teams played.
I also think Northeastern might be a little low but with teams like ASU winning big games on the road Northeastern will just need to take care of business the rest of the way. That game against BC will be huge tomorrow.
I think with the parity this season there won't be an easy game regardless of ranking. Can't wait for Dallas with all of these talented teams matching up...
(If everything started today...)
BYU v. Texas A&M
CSU v. Cal Poly
Oregon v. Lindenwood
ASU v. Utah
Michigan v. Arizona
Colorado v. Florida St.
Sonoma v. UCSB
UMD v. Northeastern
Scary to think that 3 of those bold teams are going home in the 1st round...

What should the poll look like?

If the tournament started today the top 16 would be the teams, I don't know if this has ever happened?
1) BYU-At Large
16) Texas A&M- LSA

Minnesota-Duluth- UMLL
9) Northesastern- PCLL
5) Michigan- CCLA
12) Arizona- At Large
4) Arizona State- WCLL
13) Utah- At Large
6) Colorado- At Large
11) Florida State- SELC
3) Oregon- PNCLL
14) Lindenwood- GRLC
7) Sonoma State- At Large
10) UCSB- At Large
2) Colorado State- At Large
15) Cal Poly- At Large
Teams by conference
CCLA- 1
GRLC- 1
LSA- 1
PCLL- 1
PNCLL- 1
RMLC- 4
SELC- 1
UMLL- 1
WCLL- 5
I guess this would continue the trend of teh RMLC and WCLL dominating....

There are some great match-ups here. That said, there are still plenty of games to be played and one more poll before conference championships. Good luck to all going forward.

It's tough to place teams when there has been so many crossed wins and losses amongst the top 15 teams. I still think that there are teams that are higher than they should be based on who they are and not on the relative strength of thier team this season.

Poll looks good to me, except for NE getting the 1st place vote (thats just crazy).
