I know there will be several discussion on what the Top 15 and Top 25 should look like in other areas. I was wondering thoughts on the following:

Who will drop out of the Top 10 but probably should not?
Who will drop out of the Top 25 but probably should not?

Who will be in the Top 10 but probably should not?
Who will be in the Top 25 but probably should not?

Who should enter the Top 10 but probably will not?
Who should enter the Top 25 but probably will not?

I think you get the point. Also, please try to use other arguments than who beat who and who lost to who. I'd love to see some analytical critiques of teams in regards to play (i.e. they are good because the run an aggressive zone D, score 80% EMO, etc)

#22 LMU

Loyola Marymount is 6-2, not 6-3 and the score against Colorado was 9-13.

This is a tough poll.
Sonoma lost 3 in a row, and should drop a bit.
Arizona losing to NE should drop them and move NE up.
CU lost to unranked Texas A and M last week
Oregon should go to Number 1
G tech lost to an unranked auburn and has not won quality games
Chapman went 2-1 since the last poll. Has lost 4 games to ranked or varsity teams by 5 goals (crazy) They should inch up to 17 or 18
Texas probably should move to 25 or so, if not out
Florida should probably take Texas's spot
2 loses for LMU to top 10 teams should not really move them.
Lindenwood lost to Arizona and then beat a number 24 team. Maybe they go back a spot. Should not move up.

Like I said, tough stuff for this second poll...

How do you figure sonoma should drop. The last poll came out after they lost to Oregon and CSU, since then they lost to the #1 team by one goal, and crushed Reno.

when does the second poll come out? it should be interesting. i think the topp 5/6/7 teams wont really change that much. well what i mean is that they will change, ie oregon goin 1, but i think the top teams will stay at the top.

It's going to be a tough one. NE beats USD by one then upsets UA. Colorado loses to Texas A&M and beats Texas by one, then beats LMU by a reasonable margin. Lots of room for movement in this poll....

Unranked Miami and a #21 Div. B win over SCAD doesn't help much Gobbler - a closer score against FSU might have.

Top 5, and then what?

With CSU just getting past UMD earlier today by a goal, I would feel pretty confident with listing the Top 5 this way:

1. Oregon
2. Michigan
3. BYU
4. CSU
5. UMD

But after that things get much tougher. I'm sure Colorado will end up near the top after the end of the season, but they have to fall a number of spots after losing to Texas A&M and just squeaking past Texas (who lost to both Chapman and unranked San Diego). Arizona should probably drop as well after getting beaten by Northeastern by 6. Who moves up? Does Northeastern move all the way into the Top 10? What's the highest ranking a PCLL team has ever received?

Once again, it's a tough day to be a pollster, but it's good to see some new faces moving up the ladder.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Marc!!

We lost a tight one today, but its a great measuring stick.

I would have to agree with you here.

1. Oregon
2. BYU
3. Michigan
4. CSU
5. Colorado / UMD - i am obviously biased, but I have the feeling pollsters still wont believe we are for real
6. UMD / Colorado - see above

Should be intresting in the morning!!

I would think the Top 10 would come out something like this:

1. Oregon
2. BYU
3. Michigan
4. Colorado St.
5. Minn. Duluth
6. Florida St.
7. Colorado
8. Utah
9. UCSB
10. Cal Poly

I don't see why BYU would fall below Michigan at this point with their only loss coming to Oregon by 1 goal. Positions 5 & 6 could go either way, but UMD probably deserves it.

when was the last time someone other than sonoma, ucsb, csu, or BYU was ranked #1? Has Michigan ever been #1?
