I'm surprised at a few things also, but they all make sense or are reasonable... Good work for poll #2 if you ask me.
As far as Westminster @ #4... Why not, look at their record & opponents.
Western Washington W 15-9 (the current #10)
New Mexico W 15-2
Wyoming W 19-6
Northern Colorado 20-12 (the current #9)
Northern Arizona 18-10
NDNU Notre Dame de Namur L 22-2
UC-Santa Cruz W 19-5
Dominican UniversityW 11-6
Western State College 17-3
The wins that stand out are over teams ranked 5 & 6 spots behind them... by an average of 7 goals per game... UVSC is still early in their season, but they only beat UNC 10-7... With all of that on the table, I don't think it's unreasonable in the slightest...

Kyle nails it on the head from my perspective as a Div B Voter
It is still early. And a lot of games still need to be played. But I think that it is clear that teams that are playing a challenging OOC schedule, and performing well in it, are being rewarded by the voters

Westminster should be #4, heck I wouldn't mind if they were higher. They've played a tough schedule and have beaten some of the best teams in the nation.
We still have 4 teams ranked in the PNCLL.
#3 Montana
#10 Western Washington
#16 PLU
#20 Southern Oregon
And Western Oregon is #26, also making it 5 teams. Go job by the PNCLL.

SOU Lax Season (1-0, 4-3).
Last Game: Win vs. Western Oregon 9-7
Next Game: vs. Willamette

How can anyone complain about Westminster being at #4. If you ask me, i'm suprised they didn't crack the top three. They have quality wins and haven't been challenged by a D-II team all year. I would say they are the most impressive team in D-II this year by far. (no offence to the teams ahead of them.) It was sad to see them jump UVSC, but they earned it. Thats looking more and more like a very interesting game.
Oh...thats so hot!

I feel they deserve to be ranked #4. If anyone has a issue with Westminster being #4, go out and beat em. Best way to shut up people is by letting your actions do the talking for you.

so to clear up some confusion westminster is not a D II team. they (we) are in division B though. somewhat different.
thanks everyone for the props. i still think we can get better. tomorrow should be a good test to see if we're progressing like i'd like.[/quote]

yeah it's understandable but i needed to clarify cause when ktrost said we hadn't been challenged by a DII team all year it didn't make any sense since we got our butts handed to us by the only DII team we've faced.
