I have just been informed that Salem State will not be attending the National Tournament due to both financial reasons and that their institution does not want the team travelling during finals.

I am very upset about this, but our Division B is still in its infant stages. The open spot will go to the next team in the poll. I guess all that speculation and hand wringing was for nothing.

I think they would get the 11 seed as they are ranked higher in the final poll. So it looks like we got SJU vs Harding in Round 1. Winner of that game gets to have the rematch against UST or best of three in SJU's Case

The next highest ranked team would get the At large in their place. They would be seeded according to the final poll.

WOW! harding just dodged a bullet. think any of there guys are out celebrating or what?
If they put harding in according to their poll and not just switch them with salem state, then all four teams involved will be playing higher ranked teams then they originally were.
