... why is Santa Barbara on this poll? Is someone expecting a six position drop after a loss to UCSD?
Was that a joke?

Is it not reasonable for a #6 to drop down to a #12??
Against Top 20 Competition
WINS
#4 Brigham Young
#5 Colorado
#11 Cal Poly
#17 Arizona State
#18 Chapman
LOSES
#1 Michigan
#2 Colorado State
#3 Sonoma State
#8 Arizona
#9 UC-San Diego
WCLL Playoffs UC-San Diego
Last win against a TOP 15 team: Colorado Mar 31.
Overall Record: 9-6
"" Top 5: 2-3
"" Top 10: 2-6
"" Top 20: 5-6
Reasonable but HIGHLY UNLIKELY.

In short, no. In fact, it is preposterous.

This has nothing to do with the WCLL. Why does that always come up? Get over it. There is no way any team from any conference drops from #6 to #12 or #13 on the basis of losing to a team in the Top 10. Sorry, it just won't happen. UCSB will drop, but I expect it to be to around #9 or #10.
