Is Dayton (CCLA) eligible to receive votes? I thought they were an A team playing down..

You say that St. Johns lost to Minnesota, but it was St Thomas. Easy to confuse with all the saints around us. St Thomas, St Johns, St Olaf, St Scholastica, St Mary, St Cloud, etc.

Sorry, got caught up in the Div A/Div B comparison, as that UMD game was brought up, lots of games listed, no doubt there are mistakes. That's why message boards work so well, people are happy to put others in their place.

Yes they are eligible, the confusion might be that they applied for admission to CCLA-A, but were instead voted into CCLA-B.

Does anyone know how UVSC's loss to Oregon affects them in the B div polls? They did get beat real bad. And with #1 USD's upset of div A #5 or 6 UCSD the #4 div B team should do ok against a div A team.

What is up with the RMLC? Is Western State much better than they are ranked in this poll or did Northern Colorado, Fort Lewis, and Montana State all have bad games against them?

Good Question! When a B teams plays up it seems to have no benifit other than to play at a different level and to hopefully get better. Like when CSU plays Whittier, or Denver. When it comes to this situation --UVSC getting blanked by Oregon-- it really dont matter. they still have beat every B team they have played. including #4 montana, and in conference teams #9, #10 and #11. I guess some pollsters may look down on this, but what really matters is that UVSC is a better team for playing a squad like Oregan..

As for San Diego, WOW.. they must be playing great right now! looks like they may have back to back championship years. Way to go San Diego.

Western State is much better than listed in the poll..for sure.. they seem to be getting better with every game and have a good chance making the finals in the RMLC d-b tournament..

Ok even though I am an alumni, I'm trying not to be too much of a "homer" but I am trying to get some other feedback on what to do with Harding. They traveled, arriving at 3 in the morning in Nebraska, beat Creighton which is always a tough game then played UST tought. Do they fall more than #6 for their loss? From what I have heard though UST is the real deal - a team that "can flat out ball".

Should they fall out of the top 6 or does the game just solidify who is 5 and who is 6?

What are your thoughts?

At this point, with how young the B Division is, losing like Harding did would probably solidify their spot. As the B Division grows, and becomes deeper, it will probably cause you to fall in the rankings a little more.

Just my thought...

#34 Biola Beat #48 Cal Lutheran 23-3

And we beat St. Mary's from the WCLL A division. Maybe not a huge win in the grand scheme of things, but definitely a huge win for our program.

They need to be smarter about their travel arrangements.
