I have to say, I'm happy that we have this other poll, if for no other reason than to stop the complaining. People have not been bitching about poll position now that they see 43 people are coming up with about the same thing.

Where can a FAN place a vote for the FAN POLL? I would have like to place a vote...
Is this a PREMIUM MEMBERS ONLY! FAN POLL? If so then I guess we ignorant humans aren't good enough to have an opinion...

Aaron picked certain message board members who he thought would give an honest opinion on the poll.

I have to admit I am proud to be a part of this fan poll stuff. The similarities of the real and fan polls truely show that voters don't have agendas (like what i thought was happening when I played). And like Alex said, there has been little to no whining about rankings. I am also proud that none of these teams that are discrepencies from the real poll have played eachother. That means truely they are toss-ups and that is where opinions factor in. So who knows, maybe with more fan voters those toss-ups could have gone the other way.

interesting Indiana actually recieved more votes, with less voters, in the fan poll (19) than the uslia poll (18 )

On a side note, I feel that if you were invited to vote in the Fan Poll you should at least be a Premium Member?

Fine, I'll send in my 10 bucks. I had to get some income going from reffing. Now I finally have a decent amount saved and will send it in.

Why would you have to be a premium member to vote? The only difference would be paying $10, does that make the person wiser?
I am impressed with the similarities in both polls, this week should effect the polls significantly, very exciting matchups.

Aaron Lozano wrote:The MDIA Top 25 poll is a combination of coaches and media as Sonny stated previously. What I want to establish is a fan poll similar to laxpower that is comprised of fans who are major contributors to the message board. The poll will in no way be used in the selection process for the MDIA National Championships. This Message Board / fan poll would be for entertainment purposes only. A portion of posters already list their version of the Top 20; I just want to take it a step further. That's it...nothing more.

Lozano selected avid Message Board posters that are in his opinion fairly knowledgable about the league. You would hope that these avid posters, who use the board often, and are invited to participate in an exciting 'Fan' poll would support the board with a premium membership.
Just my two cents.
