Not much movement considering the games that were played. Biggest jump was Duluth moving up 4 spots and biggest drop was Cal Poly falling down 3 spots. Florida State dropping out of the top 25 is a little shocking, but I guess they lost big, but I guess Georgia moving up helps out the SELC.

Also wanted to point out that there are some voters missing. I believe there are supposed to be 30. Here are the total voters based on number of first place votes:

Preseason: 24
Week 1: 26
Week 2: 25
Week 3: 27
Week 4: 25
Week 5: 29

I am hoping that the people who are not voting are not voting because they haven't seen games. Maybe as the season progresses, we will get more participation.

Not a bad poll... I think University of Richmond should be in the top 25. Here are my picks on a few of the big games this weekend:

Richmond vs. VA Tech - Richmond gets the upset and wins by 2
ASU vs. Chapman - ASU by 4
Sonoma vs. Cal - Sonoma in a close one
Pittsburg vs. Clemson - Pitt by 5
UCSB vs. CSU - CSU by 3
Colorado vs Oregon - Oregon by 1
Stanford vs. UC Davis - Stanford by 7
Pitt vs. Auburn - Pitt by 6
Arizona vs. SFU - SFU by 8
Auburn vs. Florida State - Auburn by 2
Boston College vs. Texas - Texas by 4

What say you???

Not sure if this counts as a big game considering neither team is ranked. I do agree with you about Richmond. I think they should be top 25 and they have a chance of knocking off Va Tech this weekend.

I like Richmond to make some noise and voted them #23 in my poll. First test is against Virginia Tech where they can either validate their vote or make me look bad. My predictions below in bold.

And who schedules two games in one day against top 25 opponents? Wonder why Pitt would do that.

Can't argue with that, but can't say it excites me. Not sure it is worth it. In the meantime, check out the guys at Bull Dodge and their Power Rankings. Good stuff.

Not sure what to do with UNLV. They had the same score differential against BYU, but both games came on the heals of big ones the following evening. Chapman for BYU and CSU for UCSB. Though Chapman did go ahead and crush UNLV after losing to BYU. I think Chapman had figured out their early season woes with their solid win over ASU.

Gauchos had that game. Up 4 with 7 minutes to go, but went to OT. Rams won 11-10. Bummer. Would have been a signature win for the Gauchos. Looks like CSU is not unbeatable.

Pitt played both games close and came out on top, but lost to Georgia Tech today 4-5. GT wasn't completely fresh, with their Friday win over Clemson coming in 3 OT's, but they were certainly fresher than a Pitt team playing 2 games the day before. Hoping GT should be close to or in the top 25 with those two wins. Pitt could climb back into the top 10 depending on their next 3 games against strong opponents.
