What conference tourneys are being played this weekend besides the UMLL? Are there any "sleeper" teams who could make a run this weekend?

The GRLC tounrey starts this weekend on friday, venue TBD for friday night, but then the 2nd round and championship games are @ Lindenwood on saturday and sunday.

As far as sleeper schools go-the GRLC is extremely evenly matched this season, and the competition will be fierce. any one of 4 teams could make a run of it. Harding and Creighton (as expected) but then there is also #1 seed Dordt who has had an amazing 7 game winning streak filled with 2-game days, and SLU, who has grown so much this year that few people really know what they are capable of.

To take that even further, I think that all 6 teams could make a run. Harding, currently the highest ranked team in the GRLC, had to take the #6 seed Depaul to OT to beat them during season. Wheaton also has a legitimate shot to pull an upset if they bring their A game.

Personally, I think the most vulnerable team is Dordt. It doesn't look like they played anyone special during season outside Creighton, which could hurt them against these quality opponents

Now that GVSU has proved themself with another top 5 win, do they stay behind UST and move to 3 in the final poll? How many Westminster 1st place votes do you think,if any at all, westminster will lose by only beating Ft. Lewis by 1. Also, who gets the the AL bids?

In my opinion, GVSU should at least split the #1 votes with Westminster. I think that they have proven themselves to be the best team going into the tourny.

As far as AL bids, UST losing definitely knocks the wind out of a bubble team. I think the 4 that should get in are GVSU, Dayton, UST, and Fort Lewis...in that order.

GVSU really proved themself with another win over a top 5 team. Very physical game, GVSU went on an 8-0 run in the first quarter but Dayton never gave up. Possesion time was heavily in Dayton's favor. In the second half Dayton had possesion for about 75% of the time but GVSU Defense held on for the win. Sophomore Goalie Steve Johns had 26 saves, many on crease.
