They can probably type better than I have been lately... but as someone that's been to Dallas each of the last 2 years, focusing on D2, as well as been a voter, WOU is under ranked. It may be a case of both, but WOU very well might be the class of the PNCLL.

as someone that plays for a team in the WCLL, I would like to say that Pepperdine was overrated from the get go.They have not done anything special to deserve that ranking, other than returning alot of players from last year. I think that was exposed last week when a young up and coming Fullerton team had them beat until they destroyed themselves with penalties in the second half and Pepperdine took advantage of it. After seeing Western Oregon come down and crush our WCLL teams last year, I do believe they are underrated. As far as the WCLL goes, dont be surprised if Santa Cruz wins the north and a very underrated biola team gets the AQ for the National Tournament.

I was hoping the WOU vs. Pepperdine game would give us a bit more insight to the largely segregated PNCLL Div 2. Based on the above and what I've heard the WCLL is just having a down year, and our only real connection into how the PNCLL compares to the rest of the nation is summarized in the above quote and what we've been seeing from the WCLL. Are there any general insights as to how the top 2 PNCLL teams would compare around the league? Are their any more OOC games coming for the PNCLL? I see 2 scenarios here: either the PNCLL is pretty balanced and is just living under the hype of their own incubation (doubt it!) or they are really that good and we as a league just don't have the insight due to the lack of ooc games.

The highest ranked PNCLL team is UPS I believe. Unless some serious shakeups happen (by no means out of the realm of possibility with the amount of lax left to be played), we may be looking at only an AQ in the tourney for the PNCLL due to the low rankings of their teams, which appears to be largely driven by the fact that they have yet to spill out into comparisons with the rest of the league.

Thats two big divisional losses for Charlotte, what does this mean for thier playoff chances?

Does this mean they are out of the race? What does that do for voters since they dont have enough OOC games for an AL? Do they stay in the top 10? top 20?

My understanding is that they can tie for 2nd place in their Division in the SELC-2....Davidson has the tiebreaker and makes the SELC tournament. Their season is pretty much done because of the OOC. I wouldnt think that this would drop them out of the poll despite having no chance for nationals.

A guy I talked to from the team sounded a bit down after the game and unsure of the future(i.e next season) and I don't blame him.

I predict a ranking between 15-20 for the next poll

I hate to say it, but Carnegie just lost again to a team I've heard pretty much nothing about. I'd have to say that they can probably be dropped from this discussion with only one win over a team that just isn't any good.

MAybe Grove City College is a good squad, but just looking at that record makes me think they should be out of the poll.
