like we didn't all know that. thanks. so why is UCSB so worried about their ranking?? i'm a UMD alumni just asking why they aren't getting any respect. Chapman is out so take a breath UCSB, you played a great season.

digplan, please let me know your excuse for why Utah should be allowed to go to Nationals after their terrific performance tonight.

there is no way that utah should go to nationals. period they have 9 losses. when you have that sort of schedule, you have to come through with big wins all the time, and they didnt period... thats all you have to look at

it pains me to say this, but utah doesn't deserve to go to the national championships. truthfully the utah discussion should be over. they won't be going, end of story. we'll talk about 'em next year.

I give Utah credit though for playing that schedule. Playing the big 3 from the RMLC each year they may want to tone down their ooc schedule next year just a weee bit. They're already playing a 1, 2 and 5-6ish team in thier conference, it looks like just too many ooc landmines this year.

I think their schedule was fine this year. If they hadn't lost to Westminster and Chapman they would have been 9-7 with a winning record and I think they would probably be going to Dallas, with all of their 7 loses coming from teams in the Top 15 and two of their 9 wins were over Top 10 teams which isn't too bad of a résumé.
So, the problem wasn't really their schedule but it was that they lost games they should have won and because of that they are not going...
