Each team had valid arguments for why they should make the tourny. But fact is its two teams for one spot. someone gets left home. thats life. its on the team to do more to not be on the bubble i guess...

Utah, I have rarely seen such a display of poor sportsmanship in my 7 years of watching the MDIA.
Impuning the integrety of JP, the volunteer president of the organization that exists to make club lacrosse a better more professional experience for all participants, is a new low.
Accusing volunteer poll voters from around the country of being crooked and favoring one league over another is ridiculous and downright childish.
Most preople on this board knew that Utah's goose was cooked as soon as Michigan lost. Utah lost their only 2 games since the last poll. That would have been enough to hold position, because the losses were to top opponents, but not enough to move up.
Most RMLC players and fans are probably thoughly embarrassed by your display of childish petulance. Most RMLC players do not post on these boards. Their coaches will not allow it. Maybe your coach should do the same. You are not helping your cause.
We get it. You are better than Cal Poly. You are better than UCSB. You are better than Sonoma St. You are better than Florida St. and all the AQ's. Maybe next year someone else will agree with you.

GummI BeaR wrote:So then you are admitting that Utah got kicked in the shins... Or maybe you confirm you would like to talk about how UCSB got in, same story, 6 WCLL voters voting on a 9-6 record. This wouldn't fly with any other team. The only reason that SB won last year was cause CSU got ousted by JP voting NO.

Alright folks...this post confirms it...this guy deserves to be ignored from this point on. Don't fall prey to his enticing posts that beg to be torn apart as unfounded and unsubstantiated...just leave him home alone, like his precious Utes, and let him wallow and cry in his misery.
If you ever fall off the Sears Tower, just go real limp, because maybe you'll look like a dummy and people will try to catch you because, hey, free dummy.

Some people are making these ridiculous claims that the WCLL voters were conspriring to let UCSB into this tournament. Yes, there are 6 voters for the WCLL, but there ARE 24 OTHER VOTERS!!! Who are we to know how many of them had UCSB in their top 12. I would venture a guess that all 30 voters had them in their top 12, so if you have a beef (hint hint Gummi BeaR), you should take it up with those other 24 voters, not the WCLL ones.
