This has been a difficult season for us thus far. We're young, dealing with some key injuries - the usual sob story. For us, the polls are secondary as we are just trying to develop into the best team that we can be - hopefully we turned a corner in a well played game last night against BYU (albeit in a loss). Honestly, I don't know where we should be ranked, that's up to others to decide. But are you seriously criticizing us for our strength of schedule?

For God sakes, from the latest poll, we play the #2, #3, #4, #6, #11, #12, #16, #17, and #24 ranked teams. Next year, we will try and squeeze Syracuse and Princeton into our schedule to bump our SOS rating.

OK, whoever had March 25 in the "Why are Chico & Cal Poly rated higher than A&M" pool is this year's winner. Please step forward and claim your prize.

Hahah. Your right Catlaxman, seems to be a topic of discussion each year.

I don't know why there is ever an argument about these three teams, A&M has scoreboard over Chico 2-0 (Both wins came in 2003) and tied with Poly (Loss in 2002 and Win in 2004).

But who is arguing anyways

A&M may have the scoreboard over Chico, but they have never registered a win over a top 10 opponent to my knowledge, so that is perhaps a reason why voters are reluctant to give them respect.

A&M's wins over Chico came two years ago. They are both different teams now!!

This is why college athletics are great! I respect all fans who have a die hard attitude toward 'their' team. The passion people have for their respective MDIA team is what helps make this league and this message board so entertaining.

And for those who remember, CP18 has a special place in his heart for the 2003 Chico State squad
