2008 Lax World MCLA Division 2 Top 25 Poll (4/30/08) is out!
big shake up with biola having to drop their AQ and santa cruz getting it. They better get cracking on practice before the National Tourney. Good luck to the rest of your teams everyone! I look forward to hearing about some exciting rematches and other games.

because a team had the balls to admit they made a mistake... wow you people are pretty harsh. I think what they did was the right choice, they made a mistake and they fessed up.

cause this could NEVER happen to a div 1 team. they're far too good to make an honest mistake.

This could have happened to anyone, regardless of Division 1 or 2. It happened to CSU a few years back if i remember correctly.
Props to Biola for bringing it up to the WCLL before the championship game.

Let's clear some things up here first. This isn't a situation where the game was played and afterwards the WCLL found out we were using an ineligible player. We (Biola) contacted the league several days before the game as we were filling out our postseason roster and informed them of the infraction as we ourselves only found out just before the game. We informed them knowing that this course of action would probably be taken but the WCLL was gracious enough to let us play in the game anyway without the player. It's an unfortunate situation, and we apologize for the inconvenience that it has created.

So are there any other teams getting an AQ that didn't win their conference tourney (besides WCLL and PCLL)?

My apologies to everyone. I was assuming that it was a different situation. My apologies especially to those at Biola. I did not know the situation. I was assuming a similar situation of those in the past. Thank you for upholding your integrity and the integrity of the WCLL.

Give Biola a break. They were honest about their mistake, and it takes a lot of class to admit it. It is too bad they cannot make it to Dallas, as they're a good team.
Also, wasn't the final poll and bracket scheduled to be released at 3pm ET?

Thats ok. It was the hardest news I've had to hear in a long time, and it made for a horrible friday afternoon/evening. I'm still proud of this team and what they accomplished on the field this season though.
