Would you say the same thing about CalPoly who hasn't beaten anybody in the top 25 (unless you count Utah who should be in the top 25)...or is that okay since they are WCLL. The argument was about A&M being in the mix of that 10-16 group that seem to beating up on each other...simple as that.

It has nothing to do with the WCLL. Why does that always come up? Get over it.

Cal Poly is overrated now also. I expect them to drop in the next poll. However, I will say {opinion warning} that if Cal Poly played A & M's schedule, they'd probably be 11-3 now also. The point is, that it is difficult to argue that they should be any higher than #17 when they haven't proven that on the field. Play and beat some teams above #17 and you might have an argument.

With the way things are shaping out, I feel that there are 3 tiers to the rankings. I think the only battles will be for the final four spots. Those teams have already been discussed so I will not repeat them. But some crucial games are coming up and we will see how things pan out.

I think being in the WCLL does have something to do with it. They have the opportunity to play cream of the crop competition year in and year out because they are required to. There is no doubt that they produce some of the better teams in the league, as evidence of their records in the MCLA tournament every year. I have never been a big fan of the WCLL beating each other up and still deserving top 10 or top 15 rankings, but they still end up showing up in the tournament unlike teams from some other conferences. I appreciate teams like LMU, UCSB, Chapman and others that have traveled to the east coast in the past couple of years. Everyone doesn't have the opportunity to travel to the RMLC and WCLL every year like some teams have.
