An interesting note, looks like all the top 16 teams will be going to the tournament (i.e. the lowest ranked AQ was #16), so the poll and the brackets correspond exactly. Just curious, is this generally the exception or the rule?

id say exception. no facts to back it up though. anyone know the history?

Looks like Arizona State will open nationals with UCSB. 3rd Game of the season. 3rd different field.

I think it happened a couple of years ago, either 2005 or 2006.
