Man, I'll never forget that episode when Weezer played at Arnold's! That was classic!

So, do you think in 30 years they'll be trying to put up a statue of Ashton Kucher?

I'm probably in the minority here, but I think that's indescribably pathetic.

Just as I think that an otherwise sophisticated and cosmopolitan city like Minneapolis is pathetic is erecting a similar statue, to a television character, on its signature boulevard.

Good heavens, people. These are television characters.

Characters--as in fictional. Not real.

Get a grip, and maybe recognize somebody possessed of genuine respiratory capabilities who has made a difference in real lives? No?

Never mind. Pass the clicker.

Grey Bear:

St. Paul has also immortalized a fictional character in Snoopy. Charles Schultz grew up in St. Paul and those statues were part of the NHL all-star game, and were sold for charity. This picture is from the science museum in ST. PAUL! But I do agree the Fonz gets a hollywood star but a bronze statue?....only in Wisconsin...wow

Yeah--I understand Chicago has a Bob Newhart statue too.

Just ignore me--I was feeling particularly cranky on Friday  .

In defense of their decision I see large amounts of middle-aged women standing with a hat off by that bronze Mary Tyler Moore statue as i leave work.

I kind of laugh as I would say a good majority of people downtown have no idea who it even is.
