Tennessee over LSU. I have called my shot. As bad as this season has gone, this is a gimme. Goodbye Les! Enjoy Ann Arbor!

Philip gets a fat contract extension and America's Team gets blown out in their bowl game. Merry Christmas everyone!

Missouri 1 and WVU is 2 in the BCS standings. That's your BCS national championship game if the Tigers beat OK in San Antonio next Saturday and WVU beats Pitt in the Backyard Brawl.

This is the wrong strategy if you REALLY want UT to win. You are supposed to throw in the towl and count the Vols out of any chance of winning....which of course they will then win and shock the nation. Interestingly enough the rankings were flipped around back in '01 when these 2 teams got together and Tennessee was on the brink of going to the Rose Bowl for the National Championship game vs. Miami and instead LSU decided it would be cool for their 1st string QB and RB to get hurt and STILL win.

On another note, things are looking good for the Vols from their previous 4 trips to the game. I've been to 2 of those games, and those are the 2 they lost. The other 2 I didn't attend...well they won. But there's an outside chance I might actually go to the game.

Just a little history refresher for ya Ethan.

How can anyone put VT in front of LSU after what happened earlier this year?

I mean the football game to clear any potential confusion, when LSU beat them by 30 points.

Consider me learnt.

I also know 2-5 in bowl games the last 8 seasons and Tennessee is 2-2 in SEC Championship games (0-2 their last two trips).

By that same thought process, how can you put USC in front of Oregon, oh cause we lost the Heisman Trophy winner. Teams change and things happen. Just cause they beat them earlier in the season doesn't mean it is automatic now.

God look at all the one and two loss teams in the top ten...Who do we think is gonna be the most screwed of any team when it is all said and done, i.e. who do you guys think deserves a shot at the N.C. but won't get it because of the polls as they are?

I want Hawaii to play (anyone) for the national championship.

That way if they finally were to play their 3rd team with a winning record this year and get blown out...everyone in the press box will shut the hell up about how "people are scared to play Hawaii...and that's why their schedule is so weak"...as opposed to the more realistic "people don't play Hawaii because kicking their ass won't help their strength of schedule".

Grand Rapids Welcomes Central Washington

Thanks for taking out the other top seed and enabling another home game for GVSU.

#1 Ranked Grand Valley State used a strong ground game and stingy defense to claim a 21-14 victory over North Dakota in NCAA DII Second-Round playoff action Saturay (Nov. 24) afternoon at Lubbers Stadium. GVSU (11-0) will host Central Washington next Saturday (Dec. 1) at Lubbers Stadium. Central Washington claimed a 20-17 upset win over the top seeded Nebraska-Omaha.

http://gvsulakers.cstv.com/sports/m-foo ... 07aaa.html

Grand Valley State increased its NCAA DII record winning streak to 39 games. GVSU's last loss was Nov. 24, 2004 at North Dakota...The GVSU senior class is 49-3, including an 11-1 mark in the NCAA DII playoffs...GVSU has won 22 straight games at Lubbers Stadium.

Gotta enjoy another season with a college football championship bracket.

Grand Valley's aiming for their 5th of the last 6 DII Championships.
