Virginia Tech @ LSU should be good match up. LSU is tough at home. What if Oregon goes in to Michigan and comes out with a W?

VT looked terrible against ECU. LSU didn't look flawless but they should manhandle VT. I almost don't want to watch the game if the announcers continue to spend more time talking about the shooting than the game. The shooting is horrific indeed...but I don't think it should be brought up (literally) every 3 minutes...IMHO.

South Carolina @ UGA will be a good game.

I think MIA @ Oklahoma should end up being a fun game to watch. Oklahoma looked GOOD and the U may finally have some discipline.

Vandy-Alabama should be interesting...Vandy is supposed to be good this year and we'll see if Saban actually has done something for his program.

Even with Wake Forest's QB being doubtful for the game, I'm still worried about Nebraska going to Winston-Salem. As a fan, I'm confident they can get the job done, but I'm also fairly sure it's not going to be a blowout. Wake Forest has a good team, and if my Huskers are too busy looking towards Southern Cal. next week, it could be disastrous.

IMO Saban is almost as good a "get" for the Tide as Urban Meyer was for UF. He is a PHENOMINAL motivator and his kids are always ready to play.

However, I'm still looking for Auburn to whoop up on 'Bama again. That is, if there's enough spirit left after the post Auburn/UF game "rape crisis" support meeting. War Damn Eagle!

Before laxative goes off on you, here is a excerpt from USC's game notes on page 2:

IT’S NOT SOUTHERN CAL—Note to the media: In editorial references to athletic teams of the University of Southern California, the following are preferred: USC, Southern California, So. California, Troy, Trojans and (for women’s teams) Women of Troy. PLEASE do not use Southern Cal.

I hope Auburn doesn't bring the game they brought against Kansas State to play Florida. I really REALLY want Auburn to beat UF

Notre Dame will be 0-2 after this weekend. Also, has Michigan ever lost back to back home games? Let alone the first two games of the season? I think there is a real possibility in their game vs. Oregon. Another good game, which I think Miami has a chance to win is their game vs. Oklahoma.

I might be the only one but I'm looking forward to the Navy-Rutgers matchup. Navy came very close to beating BC in their bowl game last year and this will be the first test to see if Rutgers can continue their success from last year.

WFU backup did a decent job @ BC in a very exciting game, engineered a few scoring drives if my memory serves.

gonna be a good one. Nebraska has a cool schedule this year.

Wake is not as scary as they were last year, mainly cause their D-line is undersized, and well Nebraskas O-line is absolutely huge. Should be a good game still but i see that being the big difference in the game

I actually don't mind being called Southern Cal...but that's as far as I'll stray from the party line. :)
