"The Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness Calls Upon Apple Inc. to Change New IMAC Campaign Claiming That, "You Can't Be Too Thin. Or Too"

http://news.yahoo.com/s/prweb/20070820/ ... eb547551_1

choice quote:
"Apple's revamping of the Duchess of Windsor's adage draws a direct connection between being thin and being powerful. While this concept may work well from a technological perspective, it can become deadly in the eyes of an individual that is genetically predisposed to developing an eating disorder."

Now, I am no fan of Apple, but a direct connection? Let's dissect this further.
"You cannot be too thin." -ok, perhaps questionable by itself in some instances
"Or too powerful."

That big fat OR in no way means that thin equals powerful. This woman is clueless.

I think there are perhaps bigger fish to fry when it comes to eating away at people's self-image than a computer company.
