Phone Options

Postby byualum on Wed Aug 01, 2007 11:15 am

I'm not tech savvy by any means...

I keep seeing the Vonage commercials for $25/month for phone service. Is anyone out there using it? I currently spend about $55/month for local and long distance with Qwest. Is Vonage reliable enough to be worth it? Are there better options?

I use Packet 8 in my fitness centers. We save a ton of money on business lines but the signal quality is sometimes poor.

My dad uses it. He lives in Moscow and set it up with our local area code so we can call him over there and not have to dial an international number, so in our case it is worth its weight in gold. It works as well as any landline phone i've used, but if the internet is out then you are S.O.L.
