Top news of Valentine's Day so far are:
1) The winter storm in the Midwest, Northeast and New England are "wrecking" Valentine's Day plans. What will we see 9 months from today?
2) Hardline Hindu activists in India are protesting Valentine's Day.

Why would they do that?

Valentine's Day sucks...like we all need to be reminded we (or I'll just say, "I") don't know anything about women. Even the ones we're married to.

Today is the great "Single Awareness Day". All of us who are single are very aware of it today.

The answer comes from:
http://www.boston.com/news/world/asia/articles/2006/02/14/moral_police_burn_valentines_day_cards_in_india
This article states that the hardline Hindu groups and radical Muslims burned Valentine's Day greeting cards by saying it was a Western import that spread immorality.

Ah I understand...it makes perfect sense to me now. It is deeply immoral to tell my gf/wife/whatever that I love her and that she's the only one for me. Ill go stone some of the village women now and not allow my gf/wife/whatever to have any freedoms outside of the home.

A UNC kid broke up with his girlfriend today 'cause she cheated on him. He did it in front of a hundred or so people out in one of their quads. here's the video

Here's the facebook group he created to recruit.

From what I can gather by looking at the video, there are three things that I noticed:
*The girl with the blue jacket was really into it when singing and swinging her hips a lot.
*The other girl who was accused of cheating on her boyfriend obviously was in control of the situation. Notice her subtle taps on her ex-boyfriend and clasping her hands.
*I even noticed the guy was rubbing the back of his head when his ex-girlfriend was aggressively responding to him.
Like what Matt Benson said, "Wow."

haha, I like the line from the crowd "Well she is from state" when he calls her a slut. At least he was mature about the whole breakup.

That was staged. Regardless...the actual "breakup" part sucked. The concept was awsome with so many people there....but that guy is a tool.
If the hilarity of that breakup is deserving of a facebook group and publicity...Id be declared ruler of the universe for some of the public breakups Ive had.

Hardline Hindu
Just a noun/adjective pairing I would never have expected.

What was the name of the song the girls were singing?
