Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick was reluctant to throw away his 20-ounce water bottle at a Miami International Airport security checkpoint Wednesday morning. The reason, police say: The plastic bottle had a secret compartment that, when opened, had a dark residue and a pungent odor of marijuana

Actually, the reason he didn't throw it away is because he would have missed the garbage can, forcing the Falcons to fire their coach and over stress their running backs.

I didn't know that Valtrex smelled like Marijuanica.

You know, for all of the Tom Brady bashing that goes on out there, at least he wins games...

All I hear is how great Vick is and yet... where are the results?

Technically since the police got the container, it's officially a turn over. If it's a fumble or INT, I'm not sure...

Id be willing to bet he was holding it like a loaf of bread and coughed it up. INT's have to be thrown in the general vicinity of at least 1 person (regardless of team), Vick is still working up to being able to do that.

Go Pats!

I guess that's what happens when the best running back on your team takes the snaps.

His other mistake was using a water bottle. How do these guys not know the FAA reg's? They fly nearly every week! He should have bought the shave cream can with the false bottom and packed it in his luggage.

I'd bet they fly chartered flights that might not get as stringent a check as a commercial flight.

i think it the TSA officially gets a forced fumble because Vick's grip was so tight on that bottle that they had a thrid person strip it from him while two others held him up before the tackle.

Exactly, and the bottle has to be under 3 oz!

Since Vick isn't a coach, he can't throw a red flag for a challenge and request a replay review.

maybe if he had just tucked the bottle in like a real runningback instead of waving it around in one hand like he usually does, he could have kept his drive going instaed of giving the TSA a fresh set of downs. tom brady at least deserves alot of the praise he gets. vick has done nothing.

The funny thing is we teach kids who to hold a football properly the first day they play, regardless of the level. I have 14 year olds here who squeeze the ball better.
