I was recently in a discussion with someone about Tom Emanski and we found out this little factoid which made both our jaws drop:

In 2003, an Internal Revenue Service probe into unpaid back taxes revealed that Emanski's net worth exceeded $75 million, most of it derived from his instructional videos, making Emanski the nation's wealthiest instructional sports entrepreneur.

Apparently Fred McGriff was only paid with a blue Baseball World hat and shirt.

Weren't those championships in like '91, '92, and '93? That's like me selling Pittsburgh Penguins tickets because they are the Stanley Cup Champions... from 1992...

Any update on that whole thing? Any more "new" back to back to back AAU teams now? I wonder who's actually using that thing.

I saw a recent commercial where they added "and a gold medal at the Pan Am Games" after the the AAU comment.

Tom Emanski is the secret to the Cubans dominance (nine gold medals in a row since 1971)? Madre dios!
