Who is going to Super Bowl 41?
Great finish today in both NFL games..... Tom Brady is a money quarterback, 12 - 1 in his playoff career.

Bitter the Seahawks lost today.
As for who is left, show me New England and Chicago! Ah, takes me back to the 7th grade and January 1986. I need to go out and get my Steve Grogan commerative neckroll available from the Franklin Mint.
To answer Sonny's original question, yes I am going.

Ditto on the Seahags. They were my team in the pool, and I was traveling back from Philly while the game was on. Got off in Grand Rapids just in time to see the Bears kick the game-winning field goal. Aargh!
How depressed does Marty have to be tonight? It was interesting hearing them discuss his conversation about his record - "It is what it is" - and now it's evne worse. Patriots and Brady are simply amazing. Odds on to take it all again in my mind.

I just hope the Saints make it...whomever they play.
Reggie Bush got SMASHED on that first touch of his in the game...he definitely picked it up tho...minus the pitch-drop at the end.

The NE-Indy game is going to be a very good game, but I do hope the Saints can march on to the Super Bowl. If that happens, that is going to be great for the City of New Orleans as well as the State of Louisiana.
With those four teams left, NE, Chicago and Indianapolis (when they were the Baltimore Colts) have won the Super Bowls. If Indy gets in, they can get the first SB win for the City of Indianapolis. If the Saints win, it will be their first win. As you can see the Patriots logo under my name, I will root for the Patriots. However, it would be nice to see the Colts-the Saints play in the title game.
It will be interesting to see Dungy and Belichick match wits next weekend.

Manning is still the quarterback for Indy, right? It doesn't matter who's coaching, Manning...in January...against Brady...I'll take the Pats every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

Being a life long, die hard Packer fan, I can honestly say this was the first time I had ever rooted for the Seahawks. I'm still bitter at what Holmgren tried to do the Pack when he left, but I'll never root for an NFC North team that is not the Packers. At this point, I want anyone but the Bears to win, if for nothing else to prevent the smug attitude Bears fans will have next year... Please tell me that some Viking fans feel the same way...

We'll have that anyway just because Chicago is not, well, Wisconsin.

This morning, someone sent me a list of quips and jokes from a variety of comedians. One of them is Richard Jeni:
"I think that's how Chicago got started. Bunch of people in New York said, 'Gee, I'm enjoying the crime and the poverty, but it isn't cold enough. Let's go West." -- Richard Jeni.

Um, that big blue thing to the right of Chicago on most maps is another great lake called Michigan. I bet they get some wind off that one too..

Isn't Chicago call the "Windy City"? I could be wrong on this.
That's actually an insult crafted by New Yorkers in the 19th century to ridicule Chicago politicians/boosters and their penchant for blustering oratory (I think, IIRC) in support of a fair or exposition being awarded to the city.
It is windy, though. The only time I ever experienced an eighty below (yeah, that's -80F) wind chill was in a Wacker Drive wind tunnel with a gale blowing in west off the lake. Takes the breath right out of you.
