I suggest you take a look at this recently declassified US State Dept. document:
http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/67584.pdf

Former PLO leader Yasser Arafat personally ordered the killings of Cleo Noel, the American ambassador to the Sudan, his deputy, George Moore, and a Belgian diplomat, Guy Eid, during a 1973 terrorist takeover of the Saudi Arabian embassy in Khartoum.

Our federal government, complicit in the murder of 2 Americans, has known this fact for 30+ years - yet has failed to push the issue to avoid upsetting our peaceful Arab friends in the Middle East. Which is worse - the fact that this crime happened or the fact that we help cover it up to avoid rocking the boat in the Middle East?

While your at it, ask the Feds to revoke these as well. And yes I did most of my research on Wikipedia, because I am lazy.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philipp_Lenard

An advisor to Adolf Hitler, Lenard became Chief of Aryan Physics under the Nazis.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egas_Moniz

He was the inventor of prefrontal leucotomy which was changed to lobotomy by American surgeons who introduced a larger severing of the neural fibre

Or how about? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cordell_Hull

Menachem Begin?

Anwar Sadat?

Humans are capable of both incredible kindness, and ruthless hatred, simultaniously.

Maybe the federal government hasn't pushed this, simply because it isn't important?

Maybe we should focus on getting out of this awful and pointless war, instead of escalating it?

Or maybe, we should form a commitee? Have a non-decisional meeting about planning a way to ensure that no other Norweigian prizes are awarded unjustly.

For all that is going on in the world, why would you think the federal government would help you right this wrong?
