"If you choose an individual, you have to justify how that person affected millions of people," said Richard Stengel, who took over as Time's managing editor earlier this year. "But if you choose millions of people, you don't have to justify it to anyone."


Sounds more like laziness to me, heh.

In a way, true. I am just glad Ahmadinejad was not chosen.

I second Oaks on the laziness thing. As the man of the year...I hearby renounce my throne to the people of Iraq, whom I feel deserve more props than some emo, self-picture taking kid on myspace.
