The accountant hired by the Dallas public school district to head its new fraud-busting Office of District Integrity quit Tuesday after The Dallas Morning News discovered his CPA’s license was revoked in 1996.
Dr. Hinojosa created the new job of District Integrity Office in August after the News detailed millions of dollars in questionable spending on district credit cards. That story was one of many over the last two years that examined district spending and purchasing.
