Boys on girls teams

Interesting case out of Wisconsin:
Court rules boys can't compete on girls' squad
Since there is no opportunity for him to compete on a boys team (since there isn't one) I think he should be allowed to participate. How could anything bad come out of that. Interesting that the court said the WIAA couldn't be sued under Title IX or the Equal Protection Clause. I wonder if the outcome would have been the same if a girl had sued to play football.
Just more fun news out of Wisconsin!
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A state appeals court on Thursday rejected a lawsuit by a boy who wanted to compete on his high school's girls' gymnastics team.
The District 4 Court of Appeals upheld a judge's dismissal of Keith Michael Bukowski's lawsuit against the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association, which has a rule prohibiting boys from competing in girls' sports.
